(USA) Pharmacy Grad Intern (Hrly)
About The Position
As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy while supporting customer health and well-being. You will contribute to pharmacy operations, patient care, customer service, and compliance with legal and company policies. The role includes processing prescription and over-the-counter orders, helping patients navigate clinical therapies, and receiving and stocking merchandise and supplies. You are expected to protect confidential information, follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines, maintain inventory and the pharmacy area, and participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
- Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Ability to cater to individual patient needs.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records according to company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
