About The Position
Viking Pest Control is hiring an entry-level Pest Control Technician in Andover, New Jersey. No prior experience is required; the company provides hands-on training. Technicians provide customer service while identifying and addressing pest and rodent issues for homes and businesses, recommending preventive solutions, and building long-term customer relationships. The role involves working independently and outdoors, with routes assigned based on the technician’s home location. After training, technicians receive a take-home company vehicle and gas card for work-related driving. Candidates must have safe, legal off-street parking for the vehicle.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Safe, legal off-street parking available at home for the company-issued vehicle.
- Comfortable working outdoors.
- Basic comfort with smartphones, tablets, and technology.
- Passion for excellent customer service and commitment to high-quality work.
- Motivated, dependable, eager to learn, and able to problem-solve with a positive attitude.
