About The Position
Viking Pest Control is hiring an entry-level Pest Control Technician in Denville, New Jersey. The role provides hands-on training and does not require prior experience. Technicians serve as the face of the company, providing customer service while protecting homes and businesses in their community. They identify and address pest and rodent issues, recommend preventive solutions, and build lasting customer relationships. The work is active, outdoors, and performed in person. After training, technicians receive a take-home company vehicle and gas card for work-related driving; candidates must have safe, legal off-street parking at their residence. Routes are assigned based on home location to reduce drive time and support local service.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Safe, legal off-street parking at the candidate's residence for the company-issued vehicle.
- Comfortable working outdoors.
- Basic comfort with smartphones, tablets, and technology.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
