About The Position
Viking Pest Control is hiring an entry-level Pest Control Technician in Wantage, New Jersey. No prior experience is required; the company provides hands-on training. The technician serves as a customer-facing representative, protecting homes and businesses by identifying and resolving pest or rodent issues, recommending preventive solutions, and building lasting customer relationships. The role involves active, outdoor work and routes are assigned based on the technician’s home location. After training, the technician receives a take-home company vehicle and a gas card for work-related driving. Candidates must have safe, legal off-street parking at their residence for the company vehicle. Work is performed in person.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Safe, legal off-street parking at the residence for the company-issued vehicle.
- Comfortable working outdoors.
- Basic comfort using smartphones, tablets, and technology.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
