About The Position

Charter Oak Home Care is seeking a caregiver for a female client in Salisbury who needs full assistance with activities of daily living and may require transfers using a Hoyer lift. The listed schedule is Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at $18–$23 per hour. The organization also has other openings with shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours on any day of the week; caregivers may design a part-time or full-time schedule. The caregiver will implement personalized care plans and schedules, support clients’ physical and emotional well-being, and help older adults maintain independence in their homes. Requirements

Compassion and empathy.
Good judgment and the ability to remain calm.
Reliability and punctuality.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Ability to pass a background check and provide references.
Experience as a PCA, HHA, or CNA is sought; experienced caregivers are requested.

Responsibilities

Deliver care to a dedicated client in the client’s home.
Help execute personalized weekly schedules and care plans.
Provide companionship and ongoing social and emotional support.
Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, light housekeeping, feeding, and meal preparation.
Keep order, safety, and the client’s enjoyment in mind.
Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed.
Document completed tasks and report changes in the client’s condition.
