About The Position

Right at Home is hiring PCA caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to provide in-home care and support to clients in Ramona and other service areas across Temecula Valley and North County San Diego. The role focuses on helping clients maintain quality of life in their own homes or senior living communities. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible shifts including mornings, days, overnights, weekdays, and weekends. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
Have reliable transportation to and from each shift.
Possess a valid driver's license and proof of car insurance.
Be able to pass a full employment background check.

Nice To Haves

High school graduate or GED certificate preferred.
Preferably one year of caregiving experience; at least six months is required. Caring for a family member counts, and training is available for people new to the field who are interested in a caregiving career.
Experience with dementia, hospice, or facilities is a plus.
Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including showering, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting.
Help transfer or move clients throughout their homes.
Perform household tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks.
Provide transportation and accompany clients on errands or appointments.
Provide dementia care.
Offer companionship through activities such as reading, music, crafts, games, and puzzles.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
