About The Position

Right at Home East Atlanta is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)/caregivers to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. The role serves clients in Snellville, Stone Mountain, Loganville, Tucker, and nearby communities. The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with day, evening, and weekend shifts and flexible scheduling. Caregivers are matched with clients close to home and receive paid orientation, ongoing paid training, and 24/7 caregiver support.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of previous caregiving or personal care experience.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain it.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Current automobile insurance.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass a drug screening.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare nutritious meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
• Follow individualized care plans.
