About The Position
Right at Home East Atlanta is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. The role serves clients in Rome, Cedartown, Lindale, Rockmart, and Dallas, Georgia. Caregivers are matched with clients close to home and supported by a leadership team, with paid orientation and ongoing paid training. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Current Georgia CNA certification.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain it.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Current automobile insurance.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare nutritious meals.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
- Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
- Complete required documentation accurately.
- Follow individualized care plans.
