About The Position

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers and CNAs to provide one-on-one home care to clients throughout Columbia, Missouri, and surrounding communities. The role offers flexible scheduling, with opportunities for part-time hours or to grow a schedule. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes while providing practical assistance, companionship, and meaningful conversation. The work is supported by a local office team.

Compensation is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, with weekly pay by direct deposit and paid training. Employees may qualify for major medical plan options with spousal coverage. An opportunity to earn up to $1,800 in retention bonuses is available: $300 at 30 days, $600 at 60 days, and $900 at 90 days. Retention bonuses require employment in good standing and at least 20 hours of work per week. The employer also offers referral bonuses and employee recognition programs.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
• Prepare meals and clean up afterward.
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, sweeping, and dusting.
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Run errands and assist clients with daily activities.
• Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.
