About The Position

Right at Home East Atlanta is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. The role serves clients in Covington, Conyers, Lithonia, Stonecrest, and Monticello, with clients matched close to the caregiver’s home. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are available, with flexible full-time and part-time opportunities. The position pays $14–$15 per hour and includes paid orientation, ongoing paid training, and support from the caregiver team and leadership.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of previous caregiving or personal care experience.
• Current CPR certification, or ability to obtain it.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Current automobile insurance.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass a drug screening.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare nutritious meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
• Follow individualized care plans.
