About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring caregivers and offering a Home Health Aide Training Program. After completing the training, participants may have the opportunity to join BAYADA as a Home Health Aide and begin a home-care career. The program covers basic regulatory and compliance topics and personal care skills to prepare graduates to provide care for adults in BAYADA’s Assistive Care State Programs practice.

The role serves clients in York, Chester, Union, Lancaster, and Fairfield Counties. BAYADA describes the work as an opportunity to care for clients in your neighborhood and support the community. The company provides clinical manager support and seeks to match caregivers with opportunities near their homes. The listed pay is $15 per hour.

Requirements

• Successfully complete BAYADA’s HHA 101 Course.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide light housekeeping.
• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
• Assist with oral feeding.
• Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Assist with ambulation.
• Provide medication assistance.
