About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to serve clients in Buncombe, Hendersonville, and Haywood Counties in its ACSP Division, including the Asheville, Black Mountain, and Swannanoa areas. The role provides one-on-one personal care, household support, and companionship to help adults remain safe and independent at home. Aides follow a written plan of care from a registered nurse. Pay is $16.50 per hour on HHA and PCA cases.

Nice To Haves

• Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcomed but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care provided by a registered nurse.
• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support, including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Assist clients with range-of-motion exercises.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Deliver compassionate, reliable care that supports clients' safety, independence, and dignity at home.
