About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Jersey Shore to help seniors live safely and happily at home. The role provides personal care and support, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, meal preparation, household tasks, transportation, and companionship. Aides also provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, report concerns to a supervisor, and help maintain a safe home environment. The position includes one-to-one aide-to-client ratios and offers schedule flexibility.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in Pennsylvania.
CPR certification.
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
Compassionate, helpful nature and good communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Maintain a safe home environment, including keeping pathways unobstructed.
Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
