About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to provide personal care for adults in its Assistive Care State Programs practice. The role includes a 40-hour training program provided by BAYADA covering basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills. Openings are listed in Worcester, Leicester, Shrewsbury, Boylston, Auburn, and Webster. Requirements
- Successfully complete BAYADA's 40-hour Direct Care Worker Course
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Provide light housekeeping
- Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises
- Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices
- Assist with oral feeding
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making
- Assist with ambulation
- Provide medication assistance
