About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver in Williamsport to help seniors live safely and happily at home. The role provides personal care and support, including assistance with daily activities, mobility, meals, household tasks, transportation, medication reminders, and companionship. Aides document clients’ conditions, report concerns to a supervisor, and help maintain a safe home environment. The position offers one-to-one aide-to-client ratios and scheduling flexibility.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in Pennsylvania.
CPR certification.
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Maintain a safe home environment, including keeping pathways unobstructed.
Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
