About The Position

Personal Care Aides/Caregivers provide one-to-one personal care and support to seniors so they can live safely and happily at home. The role includes assistance with activities of daily living, household tasks, meals, transportation, mobility, medication reminders, and companionship. Aides help maintain a safe home environment, document clients’ conditions, report concerns to a supervisor, and participate in enjoyable activities with clients. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in Pennsylvania.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
• Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
• Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
• Help ensure a safe home environment by keeping pathways unobstructed.
• Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
