About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Milton to support seniors in living safely and happily at home. The role provides one-to-one, personalized home-based care, including assistance with daily activities, companionship, and safety. Aides can set their own schedules. The listed pay is $12.00–$17.00, determined by experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in Pennsylvania.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
• Compassionate, helpful nature and good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support that helps seniors live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
• Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment, including keeping pathways unobstructed.
• Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
