About The Position

Griswold Home Care for NEPA is seeking experienced caregivers and home health aides to support clients with complex and demanding care needs in Sweet Valley, Pennsylvania. The role involves hands-on personal care, companionship, and help maintaining a safe and clean home environment. Candidates should be comfortable assisting people with dementia, behavioral challenges, or advanced mobility needs and responding calmly to unexpected events or emergencies. The position offers evening shifts and pays $15–$17 per hour. Requirements

At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience.
Ability to pass a background check.
Two professional references.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Experience with dementia or difficult client behaviors is preferred.
A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance are preferred; alternatively, reliable transportation is acceptable.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Assist clients with behavioral or cognitive challenges, including dementia.
Provide compassionate companionship and engagement.
Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Respond decisively and calmly to unexpected events or emergencies.
