About The Position

As a Personal Banker I, you are often the first point of contact for customers and help set the standard for their banking experience. The role combines personal banking and teller services, with an emphasis on building trusted customer relationships, providing guidance, and delivering helpful service. Personal bankers assist customers with deposits, loans, account maintenance, and other service needs while following bank policies and applicable regulations. This floater role provides coverage across personal banking and teller services and requires weekday availability and rotating Saturdays.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m.–6:15 p.m., with rotating Saturdays, 8:45 a.m.–1:15 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage in both personal banking and teller services while meeting consumer banking performance standards.
• Educate and advise customers about deposits and loans, and support service or account maintenance issues.
• Use sound judgment and integrity to do what is right for each customer.
• Provide teller services, including deposits, payments, and check cashing, in compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Maintain appropriate cash on hand and complete daily settlement of teller cash and proof transactions.
• Manage risk and actively practice loss prevention.
• Attend teller and personal banking training to remain current on information and applicable policies, laws, regulations, and Bank Secrecy Act policies.
• Develop customer relationships and serve as a trusted point of contact.
• Provide advice and guidance to help customers along their financial journey.
• Act with integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve all-win outcomes.
