About the position

The job overview for this role is to be an expert in optimizing marketing investment and scaling up campaigns for Merama's brands. The main responsibilities include mentoring and training the marketing execution team, optimizing budget allocation and campaigns to maximize return on investment, monitoring data and performance across multiple brands and channels, executing day-to-day management and collaborating with cross-channel marketing teams, leading and executing marketing plans to acquire and retain users, and ensuring campaigns adhere to brand guidelines. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative subjects, and at least 4 years of experience in managing marketplace ads platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor, supervise, and train the marketing execution team in order to embrace and implement best practices across the Marketplace ecosystem
  • Optimize budget allocation, marketing investment, and campaigns in order to maximize return on investment
  • Monitor trending data, ACOS, TACOS, Sales, Profit, and Spending across multiple brands and channels (Amazon, Mercado Libre, Falabella, Coppel, Walmart, etc)
  • Execute on a day to day management, and collaborate with our cross-channel marketing and commercial teams on strategy and implementation
  • Lead, develop, and execute marketing plans, playbook and roadmaps to acquire users, retain existing ones and grow awareness and consideration of the brands portfolio through paid media marketing
  • Consistently ideate new ways to drive practical business growth through paid media channels developing business cases to sell them into the organization and execute in-market
  • Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to make sure campaigns and programs adhere to brand guidelines (messaging, experiences, imagery, and tone of voice), and are delivered on strategy, on time, and on budget
  • Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends within the paid media landscape to keep our merchants up to date on best practices
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics or other quantitative subjects
  • Have 4+ years of experience in managing Marketplace Ads Platforms, such as Amazon Ads, Mercado Libre Ads and/or other e-commerce ads platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Dynamic tables, macros, etc)
