About The Position

The problem of perception. Nature of perceptual phenomena. Principles of perception. Psychological, physiological and philosophical aspects. Course includes laboratory activities. Current research in perception.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Psychology with thesis in Perception or Cognition
  • Competence in second language: Passive
  • Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
  • All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.

  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person or virtual) and may not modify without prior approval from the Vice-Dean of Governance.
  • If required to cancel a class, promptly inform the School of Psychology Secretariat.
  • If aware in advance of an upcoming absence, arrange for a suitable replacement instructor.
