About The Position

Accucare Nursing and Home Care is hiring a 1:1 Pediatric Nurse (LPN) to provide care for a 12-year-old patient in Montrose, NY. Nursing takes place in the patient’s home, school, or bus. The patient is non-ambulatory and has a gastrostomy, uses oxygen, is quadriplegic, and has seizure activity. Patient-specific training is provided, including paid clinical orientation, preceptorship, and ongoing skills labs. Other cases and shifts may be available in surrounding areas. The posted schedule includes Monday and Friday shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The role is listed as part-time or per diem, with full-time cases available. Remote onboarding is available. Compensation is $36 per hour, with differential pay based on education, experience, certifications, and work in high-need areas.

Requirements

NYS nursing licensure is required.
Must be computer literate.
Must complete onboarding before training.
Must have malpractice insurance.
Pediatric experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 nursing care in the patient’s home, school, or bus.
Complete nursing notes within 24 hours after the shift ends.
