About The Position

BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for homecare to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The role provides one-to-one care to a client in the client’s home, following a schedule chosen to match the nurse with a client. BAYADA offers onboarding and training, including paid virtual and hands-on orientation, and holds nurse appreciation events throughout the year. Nurses follow up on, carry out, and document doctors’ orders; perform assessments and monitor client conditions; and document observations, interventions, and evaluations. The role pays $26–$28 per hour. BAYADA is a nonprofit home health care provider and an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

Travel to one client’s home near you according to a schedule you choose to be matched with.
Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
