About The Position

Asure is seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist to configure its payroll tax product for small and medium-sized business clients. The role translates client requirements into accurate, scalable configurations and owns implementation outcomes from kickoff through stabilization. The specialist leads discovery, configuration, training, deployment, testing, and support through each client’s first two successful payrolls. They coordinate with clients and internal teams, provide project updates, keep work on schedule, and help clients adopt Asure products and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience supporting clients with US payroll and/or tax processing.
• At least 2 years of success in a dedicated account ownership service model.
• Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and payroll principles.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.

Nice To Haves

• CPP, FPC, PHR, or SHRM-CP certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end client implementations, building accurate configurations and delivering successful outcomes.
• Conduct discovery to identify client business requirements.
• Configure Asure’s tax solution to meet client requirements.
• Deliver training on the configured solution, including group presentations and training sessions.
• Deploy solutions and complete implementations successfully.
• Support clients through their first two successful payrolls.
• Own implementation scope, quality, and timelines, and deliver results on time.
• Promote client adoption of Asure products and procedures.
• Provide status reports and project updates to the project team.
• Anticipate and resolve project hurdles by coordinating with clients and internal teams.
• Build client advocacy and positive customer experiences.
