As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with various payroll tasks and supporting the payroll department.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar payroll software
  • Basic understanding of human resources processes and procedures
  • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently and accurately
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles, including general ledger reconciliation
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Eager to learn and grow in their role

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is a plus
  • Familiarity with accounts payable processes is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing payroll for associates
  • Perform data entry of associate information, including new hires, terminations, and changes
  • Prepare and process journal entries related to payroll transactions
  • Assist with general ledger reconciliation for payroll accounts
  • Support the accounts payable team by reviewing and processing invoices related to payroll expenses
  • Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure accurate associate data and resolve any discrepancies
  • Assist with generating payroll reports and analyzing data for accuracy
