Requirements

Experience with payroll systems (Oracle, Ceridian DayForce)
Experience with payroll reconciliation and balancing
Experience with journal entries
Experience with reporting
Experience with garnishment processing
Experience with W2s

Responsibilities

Runs payroll cycles, balances and reconciles payroll amounts, and verifies payroll data.
Assists in balancing and reconciliation of payroll-related general ledger accounts.
Prepares journal entries as needed.
Compiles periodic and special reports for internal and external sources.
Processes client responsible taxes as needed.
Performs testing, set-up, and maintenance on earnings codes, deduction codes, and imports into the payroll system.
Completes the Oracle to Ceridian comparison differences to keep the systems in sync.
Continues system education in Ceridian DayForce.
Manages the garnishment process working with the payroll provider.
Fixes Payroll Audit and Wage and Tax report differences each payroll.
Assists with month-end entity balancing of Payroll Register to W2s.
Assists in quarter-end and year-end balancing.
Cross-trains on all functions in order to be a back-up.
