About The Position

Transports patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center and performs assigned patient-related activities. Ensures patients are transported safely and uses proper body mechanics. Maintains PAR levels for equipment in various locations throughout the Medical Center and works collaboratively with coworkers in Patient Transportation and other departments. Uses Epic software to track patient locations as patients travel to and from designated areas and to track equipment movement throughout the facility.

Requirements

• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) program certification.
• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of customer service experience.
