About The Position

Parkwood Behavioral Health System is hiring a Patient Transportation Driver for outpatient services on an as-needed basis. The driver transports patients safely and professionally to and from daily outpatient treatment, as well as to and from medical and other needed appointments. The role includes communicating effectively with the dispatcher and managing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. The driver must be able to operate GPS devices and cell phones and perform other duties as assigned.

Parkwood Behavioral Health System provides behavioral health and chemical dependency services to the Mid-South region. Its services include inpatient acute and residential care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs for adults, adolescents, and children.

Requirements

• At least one year of driving experience.
• Valid Mississippi or Tennessee driver's license with F Endorsement, or a Commercial Driver License.
• Ability to understand and operate GPS devices and cell phones.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driving experience in a school, hospital, or hospitality setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Mississippi or Tennessee traffic safety laws preferred.
