Patient Safety Observer | PRN (As Needed)

About The Position
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Safety Observer sits with patients to provide a safe environment for individuals who need constant observation. The sitter provides only basic care needed for activities of daily living and diversionary activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Knowledge of standard precautions.
- Ability to recognize emergency situations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and awareness of ethical and legal responsibilities.
Nice To Haves
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
