About The Position

Friendship Village of Dublin is seeking as-needed Drivers to transport residents to various events. The role focuses on providing five-star customer service and helping improve residents’ quality of life. Drivers are responsible for inspecting and maintaining vehicles, ensuring passenger belongings are not left behind, and reporting mechanical problems to the plant director. The hourly rate is $15–$16.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with no more than five points.
Drive safely and courteously.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience driving a commercial bus preferred.
Experience with elderly people preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Columbus Metro area preferred.
Desire to make a difference and willingness to grow.

Responsibilities

Transport residents to various events.
Provide five-star customer service.
Inspect vehicles for safe operation and compliance with legal guidelines weekly and/or before extended trips.
Inspect vehicle interiors after trips to ensure passengers have not left personal belongings behind.
Maintain vehicles in proper working condition, including performing preventative maintenance, checking and replenishing gas, oil, and other fluids, replacing oil filters and spark plugs, changing tires and windshield wipers, and cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors.
Inform the plant director of mechanical problems.
