About The Position
Friendship Village of Dublin is seeking as-needed Drivers to transport residents to various events. The role is suited to people looking to earn extra cash while providing customer service to residents. Drivers inspect and maintain vehicles, ensure safe and courteous transportation, and report mechanical problems to the plant director.
Requirements
- Have a desire to make a difference.
- Be willing to grow.
- Hold a valid driver's license with no more than 5 points.
- Drive in a safe and courteous manner.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience driving a commercial bus.
- Experience with elderly people.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Columbus metropolitan area.
Responsibilities
- Provide 5-star customer service to residents.
- Inspect the vehicle weekly and/or before extended trips to ensure it operates safely and meets legal guidelines.
- Inspect the vehicle interior after trips to ensure passengers have not left personal belongings behind.
- Keep the vehicle in proper working condition by completing preventative maintenance and checking and replenishing gas, oil, and other fluids.
- Replace oil filters, spark plugs, tires, and windshield wipers as needed.
- Wash and clean vehicle exteriors and interiors.
- Inform the plant director of mechanical problems.
