About The Position
The Driver provides dependable transportation for residents to activities, appointments, and personal errands. This is an as-needed position. The Driver confirms transportation schedules with the Life Engagement Director, communicates with residents to verify dates, times, and locations, and helps keep the company vehicle safe and in working order.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
- Safe driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in transportation, such as bus or shuttle driving.
Responsibilities
- Confirm the transportation schedule with the Life Engagement Director.
- Transport residents to and from activities and personal errands.
- Communicate with residents to ensure the date, time, and location are correct.
- Maintain the company vehicle to ensure it is safe and in working order.
- Fuel the vehicle and provide gas receipts to the Life Engagement Director.
