Patient Services Specialist at The Lung Center
About The Position
The Lung Center Clinic is seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist to provide professional, friendly reception services to patients and physicians. The role organizes patient flow to help keep physicians and patients on schedule, maintains patient files and accounts accurately, and screens calls from the office manager, physicians, and nurses, handling them appropriately. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; there is no weekend or holiday work. Salary is $19.00 to $27.75 per hour, with entry salary dependent on education, skill set, and experience. The employer does not sponsor visas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clerical skills, including typing, filing, and scheduling.
- Computer and phone skills.
- People skills and excellent customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in a reception or clerical field is preferred.
