About The Position

US Fertility is hiring a Patient Services Representative for Shady Grove Fertility in Leesburg, Virginia. The role supports patients and office teams by managing patient information, scheduling appointments, addressing patient concerns, discussing benefits and financial options, and providing welcoming, high-quality customer service. The position offers a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:45 PM, with one to two weekends and holidays per year at the Fairfax office. Compensation is $20 to $23 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of applicable work experience.
• High school diploma.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance and benefits, medical terminology, and medical billing.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail.
• Computer savvy.
• High level of customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in an OB/GYN office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information.
• Assess patients’ needs and schedule appointments to support patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization.
• Schedule appointments.
• Address customer and patient issues and ensure effective short-term and long-term resolution.
• Provide timely feedback to the practice regarding service failures or patient concerns.
• Consult with patients regarding benefits, coverage, and financial options.
• Greet patients and visitors and provide a high level of customer service.
