About The Position

Wee Care Pediatrics is hiring a Patient Services Representative for its Layton clinic. The role is part-time, with a scheduled shift from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The representative supports the Patient Services Department and is responsible for accurate appointment scheduling, routing messages to the appropriate departments, greeting and checking in patients, updating personal and insurance information, collecting co-pays and account payments, monitoring the waiting area to support appropriate patient flow, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A GED or high school diploma.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Phone etiquette.
• Ability to communicate effectively with providers, staff, and patients or parents.
• Ability to prioritize multiple job demands and work in a fast-paced health care environment.
• Compassion and understanding for patients and families.

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience is highly recommended.
• Experience working in a medical office setting is desired.

Responsibilities
