Patient Services Representative - Part Time (Night)
About The Position
Wee Care Pediatrics is seeking a motivated Patient Services Representative for its Patient Services Department, dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. The position is based at the Layton clinic and is part-time, with a schedule of 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The representative is responsible for accurately scheduling appointments, routing messages to appropriate departments, greeting and checking in patients, updating personal and insurance information, collecting co-pays and account payments, monitoring the waiting area to support appropriate patient flow, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic computer knowledge and phone etiquette.
- Ability to communicate effectively with providers, staff, and patients or parents.
- Ability to prioritize multiple job demands and work in a fast-paced health care environment.
- Demonstrate compassion and understanding for patients and families.
- GED or high school diploma.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service experience is highly recommended.
- Experience working in a medical office setting is desired.
Responsibilities
