Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service in a professional setting; healthcare or clinical front desk experience is a plus but not required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly valued
  • Comfort managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to make patients feel heard and at ease, even when they’re stressed or scared
  • Proficiency with EHR systems or a demonstrated ability to learn software quickly
  • High school diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with insurance verification and clinic procedures is a plus; we provide training
  • associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Collect service payments and reconcile daily transactions
  • Manage incoming calls and route them accurately to the right teams, prioritizing by urgency
  • Guide patients through clinic policies and assist with required forms
  • Verify and document insurance benefits and coverage in patient charts
  • Log all interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Coordinate with care teams on schedule changes and patient flow
  • Handle filing, scanning, and faxing to support daily operations
  • Uphold HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality
