About The Position

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the organization to patients receiving routine healthcare or diagnostic services. The role draws blood samples and prepares specimens for laboratory testing according to established practices and procedures. Through direct patient contact, the PSR I builds trust while explaining procedures and collecting blood specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately. The position emphasizes leadership behaviors, process excellence, confidentiality, and accurate patient information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience.
• Keyboard and data-entry experience.
• Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric care.
• Flexibility and availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call work, and overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training.
• Phlebotomy certification; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• One or more years of phlebotomy experience.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
