About The Position

TouchPoint, a member of Compass Group USA, provides customer-focused support services, including healthcare housekeeping, laundry processing management, patient transportation, and food service. The Patient Services Manager leads the Patient Services Team in an acute care setting. The role oversees patient food service operations and team development while supporting patient satisfaction, dietary requirements, regulatory compliance, and facility quality programs.

Requirements

Associate degree and one year of work experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in food service technology, management, or a related field.
Possess the skills to effectively use Microsoft Office applications, an electronic medical record, and diet office systems.

Nice To Haves

Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician credential, or Registered Dietitian credential preferred.
At least one year of food service management experience preferred, ideally in an acute care setting.
ServSafe certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food service needs based on medical direction and the patient population.
Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service team members.
Ensure dietary restrictions and special or modified diets are followed while accommodating food preferences within diet-order limitations.
Ensure patient services staff contribute to stated patient satisfaction goals.
Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agency requirements, and follow facility confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights policies.
Participate in or lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
