About The Position
PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to support the patient care journey by coordinating administrative and communication processes among patients, providers, and insurers. The role helps patients access care efficiently through insurance verification, authorization support, physician referral coordination, and scheduling. The position includes ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED at minimum; submission of a diploma for the highest level of education obtained is required.
- 1–2 years of customer service experience; healthcare experience is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
- Follow appropriate processes for insurance verification and/or benefits management.
- Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
- Collect over-the-counter payments and reconcile all charges weekly and monthly.
- Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.
