About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and organized Patient Registration Specialist - Float to serve as the first point of contact for the clinic and help deliver a positive patient experience. The role involves greeting and registering patients, collecting payments, verifying insurance eligibility, and answering incoming calls. The position is based at the East Broad office and may involve registration for Ohio ENT and Hearing Health Solutions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime and travel required. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (high school diploma or GED required).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs).
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Professionally greet all customers.
• Register all patients, including patients for Ohio ENT and Hearing Health Solutions.
• Update patient demographics at each visit.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
• Scan documents into the electronic health record (EHR) as needed.
• Collect and post copayments and payments for non-covered items sold.
• Verify that referrals are in place for patients.
• Verify insurance eligibility.
• Answer incoming calls.
