About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and organized Patient Registration Specialist to support the Neuro-Ophthalmology practice at the Bethel Road office. As the first point of contact for the clinic, this role is responsible for helping ensure a positive patient experience by greeting customers, registering patients, collecting payments, verifying insurance eligibility, and answering incoming calls. The role may also support registration for Ohio ENT and Hearing Health Solutions. Float office locations are Bethel Road and Neuro-Ophthalmology. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional overtime and travel are required. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (high school diploma or GED required).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs).
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Professionally greet all customers.
• Register all patients, potentially for Ohio ENT and Hearing Health Solutions.
• Update patient demographics at each visit.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
• Scan documents into the electronic health record as needed.
• Collect and post copayments and payments for non-covered items sold.
• Verify that patient referrals are in place.
• Verify insurance eligibility and answer incoming calls.
