Patient Registration Representative Clinics
About The Position
The Patient Registration Representative works in Patient Registration Clinics at the Main Campus McWane Building, serving Children’s of Alabama specialty clinics on the Main Downtown Campus. This role performs customer-focused Access Center work, including pre-registration verification, pre-admission, limited financial counseling, scheduling and follow-up appointments, co-pay collection, collaboration with bed placement coordinators, order entry, account verification and updates, and urgent registrations. The representative works collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting and must be flexible about working in different physical locations and roles to meet customer needs. The role may require reporting during inclement weather, disasters, and states of emergency.
Requirements
- High school diploma, graduate, or equivalent.
- One year of job experience at staff level with specialization in Care Administration - Registration.
- Ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work in different physical locations and roles as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of or experience with SMS/Invision.
- One year of previous work experience with automated scheduling and registration applications.
Responsibilities
