About The Position

Onco360, a leading oncology pharmacy, is seeking a Patient Financial Advocacy Coordinator to help patients and families access financial resources for pharmacy co-pays. The coordinator identifies suitable assistance through nonprofit organizations and manufacturer programs, explains the process, helps patients complete applications, and reviews the documents needed to apply.

The role is remote and full-time, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Compensation starts at $25.00 per hour. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for employees starting before December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Registration with the Board of Pharmacy, as required by state law.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).
• At least 3 years of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Specialty pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice first-call resolution to help patients and families secure financial assistance for pharmacy co-pays.
• Maintain working knowledge of health insurance and pharmacy benefit coverage, cancer diagnoses, and drugs used in treatment.
• Support applications for nonprofit and manufacturer assistance programs.
• Explain insurance benefits and co-pay structures clearly.
• Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance data in CPR+.
• Collaborate with pharmacy operations and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service.
• Help patients understand the application process, complete applications, and gather required documentation.
