About The Position

Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking a Patient Financial Advocacy Coordinator to help patients and families access financial resources for pharmacy co-pays. The coordinator identifies nonprofit and manufacturer assistance programs that fit patients’ needs, explains the process, helps complete applications, and reviews the documents needed to submit them. The role is full-time, remote, and based in St. Louis, Missouri, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour and up. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for employees starting before December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Registration with the Board of Pharmacy, as required by state law.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).
• At least 3 years of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Specialty pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice first-call resolution to help patients and families secure financial assistance for pharmacy co-pays.
• Maintain working knowledge of health insurance and pharmacy benefit coverage, cancer diagnoses, and drugs used in treatment.
• Support applications for nonprofit and manufacturer assistance programs.
• Clearly explain insurance benefits and co-pay structures.
• Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance data in CPR+.
• Collaborate with pharmacy operations and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service.
• Help patients and families understand the assistance process, complete applications, and gather required documents.
