About The Position

Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking a Patient Financial Advocacy Coordinator to help patients and families access financial resources for pharmacy co-pays. The coordinator identifies nonprofit organization and manufacturer assistance programs that fit patients’ needs, explains the assistance process, helps complete applications, and reviews the documentation required. The role is full-time, remote, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and scheduled Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour and up. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to employees who start before December 31, 2026.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
Registration with the Board of Pharmacy, as required by state law.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).
At least 3 years of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
Specialty pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

Practice first-call resolution to help patients and families secure financial assistance for pharmacy co-pays.
Maintain working knowledge of health insurance and pharmacy benefit coverage, cancer diagnoses, and drugs used in treatment.
Support applications for nonprofit and manufacturer assistance programs.
Explain insurance benefits and co-pay structures clearly.
Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance data in CPR+.
Collaborate with pharmacy operations and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service.
Help patients identify suitable financial resources, understand the application process, complete applications, and review required documents.
