About The Position

Onco360 is seeking a Patient Financial Advocacy Coordinator to help cancer patients and their families access financial resources for pharmacy co-pays. The coordinator identifies suitable assistance from nonprofit organizations and manufacturer programs, explains the process, helps patients complete applications, and reviews the documentation needed to submit them. The role is remote and full-time, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mountain Time. Salary starts at $23.00 per hour. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to employees who start before December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Registration with the Board of Pharmacy, as required by state law.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) credential.
• At least 3 years of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Specialty pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Use first-call resolution to help patients and families secure financial assistance for pharmacy co-pays.
• Maintain working knowledge of health insurance and pharmacy benefit coverage, cancer diagnoses, and drugs used in treatment.
• Support applications for nonprofit and manufacturer assistance programs.
• Clearly explain insurance benefits and co-pay structures.
• Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance data in CPR+.
• Collaborate with pharmacy operations and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service.
• Help patients navigate assistance resources, understand application steps, complete applications, and identify required documents.
