About The Position

Onco360 is seeking a Patient Financial Advocacy Coordinator to help cancer patients and their families access financial resources for pharmacy co-pays. The coordinator identifies suitable assistance through nonprofit organizations and manufacturer programs, explains the process, helps patients complete applications, and reviews the documents needed to submit them. The role also supports patients in understanding insurance benefits and co-pay structures while maintaining accurate patient and insurance information and coordinating with pharmacy operations and other teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Registration with the Board of Pharmacy, as required by state law.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).
• At least 3 years of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Specialty pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Use first-call resolution to help patients and families secure financial assistance for pharmacy co-pays.
• Maintain working knowledge of health insurance and pharmacy benefit coverage, cancer diagnoses, and drugs used in their treatment.
• Support applications for nonprofit and manufacturer assistance programs.
• Clearly explain insurance benefits and co-pay structures.
• Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance data in CPR+.
• Collaborate with pharmacy operations and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service.
• Help patients navigate assistance options, understand the application process, complete applications, and identify required documentation.
