About The Position

Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking a Patient Financial Advocacy Coordinator to help patients and families access financial resources for pharmacy co-pays. The coordinator assists patients who may qualify for support from nonprofit organizations and manufacturer programs, identifies resources that best fit each patient's needs, explains the process, and helps complete applications and gather required documentation. The role is remote, full-time, and scheduled Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST. Salary starts at $22.00 per hour. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to employees who start before December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Registration with the Board of Pharmacy, as required by state law.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).
• At least 3 years of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Specialty pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice first-call resolution to help patients and families secure financial assistance for pharmacy co-pays.
• Maintain working knowledge of health insurance and pharmacy benefit coverage, cancer diagnoses, and drugs used in treatment.
• Support applications for nonprofit and manufacturer assistance programs.
• Clearly explain insurance benefits and co-pay structures.
• Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance data in CPR+.
• Collaborate with pharmacy operations and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service.
• Help patients identify financial resources that suit their needs, explain application processes, and assist with applications and required documentation.
