About The Position

As a Patient Coordinator, you will be one of the first points of contact for patients and help create a positive experience from check-in to check-out. You will support the front desk with registration, scheduling, insurance verification, phone calls, and other daily patient needs. This PRN opportunity provides staffing coverage in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment and is suited to someone who is friendly, organized, and provides excellent customer service. Shifts are picked up as needed according to availability and center needs, with opportunities at either of Heartland Imaging’s outpatient imaging centers in Louisville, Kentucky: 7807 Shelbyville Road or 5227 Dixie Highway. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are available.

Heartland Imaging offers diagnostic and screening radiology services, with a mission to provide affordable medical imaging while maintaining expertise and a compassionate patient experience. The role is with Heartland Imaging, in partnership with Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, LLC.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required to be competitive.
• Friendly, organized, and able to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with registration.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Verify insurance.
• Handle phone calls.
• Support other daily patient needs at the front desk.
• Help create a positive patient experience from check-in through check-out.
